Building Community & Supporting the Scouting Program
& Immaculate Heart of Mary Church

Brooklyn Cub Pack & Scout Troop 187 will be hosting a series of community outreach events for the Scouting program and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The monthly events will be designed to provide families in the surrounding communities with a local place to have fun, get to know their neighbors, and enjoy quality entertainment at an affordable price. The events will enable local merchants, organizations, and performers to showcase their products, services, and talents.

3/5/10----BLUE & GOLD DINNER
3/19/10---A NIGHT OF COMEDY (Family/Kid-Friendly)
4/16/10---A NIGHT OF MUSIC

Each event includes: Main Entertainment, Children's Play Space, Refreshments, Babysitting, Quiet Room, Merchant Tables, & Raffle. Tickets are $10/person age 5 and up. Tickets are available for purchase here, from a Cub Scout, after mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary church, or at the event.

Individuals/Families: to purchase tickets for the next event securely, online, at the advance price click here. Tickets can also be purchased from Scouts after mass at IHM or at regular Scout meetings (or at the door for a slightly higher price).

All events will take place at IHM School, 3002 Fort Hamilton Pkwy at East 3rd Street, beginning at 7P.M. Each event in the series will include the featured entertainment in the gym, a children's play space downstairs in the cafeteria, a room for reading and quiet time, and a babysitting room for children under the age of 5. In addition, at each event there will be a merchant showcase with local retailers, service providers, artisans and crafters and a raffle with prizes donated by local merchants. Refreshments will also be available.

Proceeds from these events will support rebuilding the IHM School Kitchen and the fast-growing, newly formed Cub and Boy Scouting program.
